about

This is the 16th single titled “Control Pad”, this single features “Andy Blade” the front man from the original 76 British first wave punk band “Eater”. “Andy” added a distorted lead guitar & also added backing vocals & his own little line at the end with the lyric “I Know”. Indie pop meets a punk legend, a very catchy hook & lead line. This was recorded in Zenxith’s house in late September 2023 & sent to “Andy” so he could record his parts from his home in London, England also September 2023. The cover art is a picture from the 1954 Sci-fi film “Them”. This is also my first collaboration, this will be available on 7 inch black vinyl under my own label Zenxith Records from January 2024. The record will feature two B sides, them being “Here We Go Around Again” & “I’m Lost In The Harbour”, both tracks from the album “Bonny’s Garden Party”, the A side doesn’t feature on any album, although it is a bonus track on my 10th album titled “Talk About Prolific”.

lyrics

The weather is so nice here
I wish I could stay
I wish I could turn
The pages of another day
I feel so alone here
Got nothing to do
I'll walk these streets forever
I'll get no help from you

Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again

This is my control pad
And I'm living in the sky
The streets are cold and lonely
And I don't wanna die
This is my control pad
And I'm looking out to space
There's nothing I can see now
My heads in a pillowcase

Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again

Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again
Here it comes again here it comes again

I know
I know
I know
I know

Well these four indicate
Locations where we found dead male ants
