This is the 5th single titled “The House That Was Never There” this was recorded in Zenxith’s house in early February 2023. This single is from the album “The Painted Time”. The cover art is a very old picture of Ladybower Reservoir in Sheffield, England. The song itself is actually about the picture on the cover, because this building shown on the artwork is now destroyed & submerged under the water as well as a full little village, a lost village that is now a reservoir, so “The House That Was Never There” is referring to the building featured on the cover. This is also my first track that uses a tambourine, very jangly. This song is also available on the singles EP titled “Some Kind Of Belonging” released on cassette by the label MusicFromAss.
