This is the 22nd single titled “Ed Wood Was There” & it’s also the 2nd single from my upcoming album titled “Cooling Tower” which will be available on CD, this was recorded in Zenxith’s house in February 2024, the cover art is from the 1959 B movie “Plan 9 From Outer Space”, which is also what the song is about. Isolated bass with tambourines to open the track, monotone vocals & a distinctive guitar hook caked in chorus that plays throughout the entire song, keyboard comes in at the to accompany the lead guitar. This is a perfect mix of post punk & indie pop.
Wrote and recorded within an hour or two, no studio, no audio mastering etc etc, this is genuine DIY straight from my room. Rather mellow & slow also slightly dark toned.
