about

This is the 14th single titled “The Red Wire”. This was recorded in Zenxith’s house during September 2023. This single is from the album “I was Named After Daniel Treacy”. The cover art is of the English actor, singer & model “Twiggy”. I’m not sure when but I’m pretty sure it’s the 1960s. This song is fairly energetic “The Red Wire” is referring to the guitar lead that I use to record all my songs. This song pays tribute to 80s indie pop. This track is available on the Cassettes “I Was Named After Daniel Treacy” & “Some Kind Of Belonging”.
Also features on a double album CD put out by the label Subjangle.

lyrics

Where does the red wire go
It goes into your guitar
Where does the red wire go
It goes into your guitar

I love indie pop
I am the red wire
I love indie pop
I am the red wire

Oh music like a jangle dream
I like The June Brides
Oh music like a jangle dream
I like The Field Mice

La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la

All these jangle melodies
It makes me feel my sensibilities
All these jangle melodies
It makes me feel my sensibilities
